Job Description

Engineer Industry 4.0

Industry 4.0 Engineer primary responsibilities are to engineer and build solutions for Industry
4.0 and IIoT clients in Manufacturing. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Design and engineer HMI, MES, and SCADA systems built around the Ignition platform
using SQL, Python, JavaScript, and other languages and technologies.
Create Solutions in other technologies, including but not limited to:
o Databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
o Custom applications (C#, .NET, etc.)
o MQTT Brokers (HiveMQ, Chariot, etc.)
Design and engineer solutions with cloud technologies, including but not limited to:
o Snowflake Data Cloud
o AWS
o Azure
Develop and configure interfaces with third-party software tools such as OPC servers
Provide detailed documentation to clients on system design and programming
Requirements:
Experience on Connected Factory projects, in specific - solutions for Industry 4.0.
Inductive Automation Ignition Certification (expired is acceptable)
Requires a Bachelor s in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or related engineering field or
relevant experience.
Ability to work remotely and manage time/tasks independently.
Ability and desire to travel as required based on client location
Demonstrate excellent ability to build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain
communication with customers at multiple levels, including those external to the
organization.
Experience developing in higher-level programming languages such as C#/.NET, SQL,
Python, JavaScript, or others
Experience in IIoT architectures involving Hybrid Cloud, MQTT, and device
orchestration.
Experience working databases and database design, writing medium to complex
queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
Ability to understand PLC logic and programming

Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science/IT or Engineering.
