The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks with precision and safety. • Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard using hostlers. • Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics tasks efficiently. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all established protocols and procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this role. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety in all operations. • Experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
