The Role

• Develop and manage robust procurement strategies for extended investment programmes, balancing commercial value, risk, and business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and liabilities within procurement and contract strategies.
• Produce and manage procurement plans that accurately capture stakeholder requirements.
• Provide essential commercial and supply chain support to delivery programmes.
• Lead supplier negotiations, including commercial aspects, to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Contribute to bidding activities, ensuring alignment with budgetary and business objectives.
• Ensure life cycle costing principles are integrated into pre-ITT processes, including Make vs. Buy decisions and contractor selection.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in supply chain or commercial roles within the infrastructure and construction industry, with a focus on major project procurement.
• Demonstrated experience leading procurements based on specifications for design, manufacture, and build.
• Solid understanding of business and procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy, and strategy.
• Experience in contract and supplier performance management.
• Ability to work effectively with wider business units and external professional teams.
