SAP Vertex O-Series Consultant

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Vertex O-Series Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise in implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting Vertex solutions in complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate should have experience supporting high-volume transactions involving both digital services and physical goods. Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Vertex O-Series.
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of Vertex tax configuration.
• Strong experience with Tax Assist rules, jurisdictions, rates, exemption certificates, and reporting.
• Proven experience implementing Vertex in extremely high-volume transaction environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting tax scenarios for both digital services and physical goods.
• Strong Vertex integration experience with SAP and custom applications.
• Solid engineering background in API design, data mapping, secure integrations, and JSON/XML transformations.
• Experience defining error handling, monitoring, transaction mapping, and reconciliation frameworks.
• Strong architecture, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
