Company Summary: A global manufacturing organization is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer to serve as the senior accounting leader and strategic partner to the CFO. This executive will oversee global accounting, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, audits, and accounting operations across multiple international regions. Key responsibilities include managing global financial reporting, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance, leading audit and control activities, supporting acquisitions and strategic initiatives, driving finance transformation efforts, and developing a high-performing accounting team.

Chief Accounting Officer Responsibilities:

• Lead the global accounting and financial reporting function.
• Oversee consolidations, compliance, audits, and internal controls.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and accounting policies.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and business growth.
• Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, and finance transformation efforts.
• Build and develop a high-performing accounting organization.

Chief Accounting Officer Requirements:

• CPA required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Prior CAO, VP of Accounting, Corporate Controller, or similar executive-level experience.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or product-based industry background.
• Strong multinational financial reporting and consolidation experience.
