responsibilities:

Role Overview: Senior IT Procurement Analyst (Software & SaaS) Our client is seeking a Senior IT Procurement Analyst specializing in Software & SaaS Management to oversee a growing software portfolio. In this role, you will lead end-to-end software acquisitions, contract renewals, license optimization, and vendor negotiations. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders-including IT, Legal, Finance, and Information Security-to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and seamless SaaS operations.


Under general supervision, this position operates at an enterprise-wide level to manage financial and procurement functions related to IT products and services. This includes Software, SaaS, Hardware (Desktop, Data Center), Cloud Infrastructure, Telecommunications, IT Implementation, Advisory and Managed Services, and emerging technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Evaluation: Lead evaluations of IT vendors, contracts, and proposals, including Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Research & Recommendations: Conduct market research, evaluate services, and provide data-driven supplier selection recommendations that align with our client's best interests.
  • Negotiation & Support: Assist business units with product/service evaluations and actively support contract and pricing negotiations.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee new and existing IT products and services, ensuring compliance with procurement rules, regulations, and financial principles.

Qualifications & Competencies


Education & Experience: Solid foundational knowledge of IT products/services, procurement regulations, and financial principles obtained through advanced education or equivalent professional experience.


Domain Expertise: Broad understanding of software lifecycle management, SaaS operations, and hardware/infrastructure procurement.


Autonomy: Ability to work independently with general supervision on moderate-to-complex procurement initiatives.


Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to articulate policies, explain technical/financial facts, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
