Associate Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Developer to become part of the team responsible for managing MYOB's SaaS platform - MYOB Business. This platform addresses the accounting, payroll, and compliance needs of small and medium enterprises (SME) in Australia and New Zealand.

As an associate developer, you'll contribute to the team's delivery through hands on development, collaboration, and problem solving. Working alongside a supportive team, you'll have opportunities to grow your skills and expand your technical expertise by learning from others. You'll also play a vital role in maintaining the robustness, security, and performance of our accounting software-especially when handling sensitive financial data.

About You

• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and concepts.
• Ability to deliver well designed, high quality, and robust solutions.
• Pragmatism to balance short term delivery focus with longer term objectives.
• Experience with full stack development (JavaScript, React, Node, ExpressJS, .Net Framework, C#, AWS, and Azure).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and a curiosity about learning standard methodologies for speed and quality of delivery.
• A growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
