Overview
Under general supervision, the Contract & Compliance Analyst is responsible for analyzing
preparing and finalizing complex contracts for execution. This role provides expertise in regulatory
compliance, and vendor oversight, while protecting the organization's reputational interests. This
role serves as a key contributor in the administration, analysis, coordination, and lifecycle
management of organizational contracts while supporting compliance with regulatory, contractual,
and internal governance requirements.
The Contract & Compliance Analyst assists internal stakeholders, leadership, and external partners to identify risks,
strengthen controls, support operational excellence, and protect the organization's regulatory, and
reputational interests.
How you'll make an impact
- Analyze, prepare, review, coordinate, and manage complex contracts, amendments,
agreements, and related documents throughout the contract lifecycle. - Ensure contracts are complete, accurate, compliant with organizational standards, and
properly executed before implementation. - Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and external stakeholders to support
contract development, review, negotiation support, and resolution of contractual issues. - Conduct contract risk assessments and identify business, financial, operational,
regulatory, and reputational risks. - Monitor contract obligations, renewal timelines, deliverables, required documentation,
and compliance requirements. - Maintain the contract management system, ensuring data integrity, document
accuracy, timely updates, and reliable reporting throughout the contract lifecycle. - Support the development and maintenance of standard contract templates, forms, routing
processes, and supporting documentation. - Conduct research and perform specialized analysis related to contracts, compliance
requirements, regulations, and organizational risk exposure. - Support monitoring of compliance requirements and assess adherence to applicable
regulatory, contractual, privacy, security, licensure, ethics, and governance standards. - Identify, evaluate, document, and communicate compliance risks, control gaps, and
potential areas of vulnerability to management. - Recommend and assist with implementation of corrective action plans, process
improvements, and risk mitigation strategies. - Promote adherence to internal policies, standard operating procedures, ethical standards,
and organizational compliance expectations. - Assist with the development and presentation of contract, compliance, risk awareness,
and process-related training materials. - Perform related duties as assigned in support of departmental and
organizational objectives.

- Provide technical expertise and analytical support
- Ability to work a hybrid model out of San Diego, CA - 3x On Site, 2x WFH.
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Contract Management, Compliance, Risk Management, Public
Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field and a minimum of three
(3) years of progressively responsible experience in contract administration, compliance,
risk management or a related field. - Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM),
Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Compliance & Ethics
Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or Certified Risk
Management Professional (CRMP) are desirable.
