Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Kubernetes controllers and custom resource definitions to extend platform functionality.
  • Write clean, maintainable Go code for platform services, automation and controller logic.
  • Configure and maintain Argo CD workflows to enable consistent application deployment.
  • Improve GitOps practices so platform changes are traceable and easier to manage.
  • Design platform components that make it simpler for teams to deploy and operate applications on Kubernetes.
  • Investigate and resolve issues across Kubernetes controllers, CRDs and deployment workflows.
  • Document platform patterns, configuration and operating guidance to support clear use of shared tools.
  • Work with technology stakeholders to turn platform needs into practical Kubernetes-based solutions.
The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Platform engineering experience, with a practical focus on building and improving shared technical platforms.
  • Strong experience developing Kubernetes controllers and custom resource definitions.
  • Hands-on capability in Go language development for cloud-native or platform tooling.
  • Experience using Argo CD to manage GitOps-based application deployments.
  • Sound understanding of Kubernetes resources, configuration and operational patterns.
  • Ability to troubleshoot platform components and deployment issues methodically.
