SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant

Location: Fully Remote

Security Clearance: [USC/Citizens- Active Secret Clearance-- Required]

We are seeking a senior SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to support a large-scale, complex SAP S/4HANA implementation for the Client. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the SAP PM solution to manage the maintenance of naval assets, including ships, aircraft, and shore facilities. You will work closely with Client maintenance and engineering stakeholders to translate their complex requirements into a robust, efficient, and integrated maintenance management system within SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client workshops to gather and analyze business requirements for corrective, preventive, and condition-based maintenance processes.
  • Design and configure the SAP PM module, including technical objects (functional locations, equipment), maintenance notifications, work orders, and maintenance plans.
  • Ensure tight integration of the PM solution with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Finance (FICO), and Project Systems (PS).
  • Develop detailed functional specifications for customizations, reports, and interfaces needed to support Client-specific maintenance operations.
  • Oversee unit and integration testing for the PM module, manage defect resolution, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Support data migration efforts for maintenance master data and provide post-go-live support to ensure a smooth transition.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Consulting and Client Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients on maintenance best practices.
  • Functional SAP Fluency: A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), with at least two full-cycle implementations. Experience with S/4HANA Asset Management is highly preferred.
  • Collaborative Experience: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a large, integrated team environment, coordinating design and integration points with other functional and technical experts.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience with maintenance processes in asset-intensive industries (e.g., defense, utilities, oil & gas) is highly desirable.
  • Federal and Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • T3 / Secret Clearance required
  • DoD implementation experience is preferred
