The Role • Ensure Process Control Technology (PCT) performance targets are met, focusing on functionality, availability, efficiency, compliance, quality, safety, and environmental impact. • Plan and execute PCT maintenance, managing technical aspects, budgets, timelines, and compliance, adapting strategies based on plant performance and best practices. • Plan, implement, and monitor investments within the area of responsibility, and support the planning of major capital expenditures. • Maintain knowledge of internal and external technical regulations and legal frameworks, ensuring local compliance and adherence to company guidelines. • Schedule and conduct recurring inspections and acceptances of safety-critical PCT components. • Identify, evaluate, and implement PCT modifications, resolve technical issues, and initiate improvements to minimize downtime. • Create and maintain technical documentation for PCT operations and perform software changes in process control systems and safety instrumented systems. What You'll Need • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Measurement, Control, and Automation Technology or a related field of Electrical Engineering. • Several years of professional experience in technical and/or production roles. • Experience with project management and/or maintenance tasks (including turnarounds/shutdowns) within the chemical industry. • Proficiency in established process control technology procedures and standards. • Strong technical acumen and familiarity with engineering tools and software. • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit for teamwork. • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
