Role Title: Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

Duration: 1Year

Preferred Location: Mon-Fri - Onsite 4 Days a Week

 

Role Description:

Seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives focused on database access provisioning and modernization. This role will partner closely with engineering teams to gather requirements, document processes, and support software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities for internally developed applications.

 

This is an ideal opportunity for a BSA who enjoys documentation, process improvement, and working between technical and business stakeholders.

 

Day to day:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Produce and maintain SDLC documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and testing documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and software developers.
  • Support Agile project activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement clarification.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.
  • Ensure documentation meets internal governance and audit requirements.
  • Help support projects related to database access management and identity governance.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
  • Experience creating detailed SDLC documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience gathering business and technical requirements.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working within structured governance and documentation processes.
  • Banking or financial services experience preferred.
