Role: SAP S/4HANA & BW/4HANA Security Consultant

Location Raritan, NJ- HYBRID (3 days a week)

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA & BW/4HANA Security Consultant with proven expertise in security architecture, role design and development, authorization management, and regulatory compliance. The resource will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting security solutions across SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA environments, ensuring secure access, segregation of duties (SoD), and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA security and authorization architectures.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize single, composite, derived, and Fiori roles to support business and compliance requirements.
• Configure and manage authorization objects, user provisioning, role assignments, and access controls.
• Support SAP Fiori Launchpad security, catalogs, groups, spaces, and pages.
• Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and risk remediation using SAP GRC Access Control or equivalent tools.
• Conduct user access reviews, audit support activities, and compliance assessments.
• Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to ensure secure system design and deployment.
• Support security activities during system upgrades, migrations, S/4HANA transformations, and BW/4HANA implementations.
• Troubleshoot authorization issues and provide ongoing production support.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP Security experience with hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, role design methodologies, and security best practices.
• Experience with SAP Fiori Security, CDS Views, OData Services, and embedded analytics security.
• Proven experience in SAP GRC Access Control, SoD management, and access governance.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOX, FDA GxP, GDPR, and audit requirements.
• Experience supporting global SAP landscapes and large-scale transformation programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Security and/or SAP S/4HANA certifications.
• Experience with SAP BTP security, SAP Cloud Identity Services, and hybrid SAP landscapes.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as Life Sciences, Healthcare, MedTech, or Pharmaceuticals.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
