Job Description

Summary

Hybrid role that supports the complete cyber security assessment and authorisation lifecycle for nationally significant defence infrastructure, directly supporting Australia's defence capabilities and operational readiness. The position will be based in Adelaide.

Responsibilities
  • Execute security assessment and authorisation activities.
  • Prepare and maintain security artefacts (SSP, SSP A, SRMP, CMP).
  • Analyse existing systems and systems under development and implement security controls.
  • Review system changes for compliance with security requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to other staff, as required.
  • Travel occasionally as part of the programme.
Qualifications
  • Certifications in cyber security or related IT field (e.g. CompTIA, ISACA, ISC2, Microsoft).
  • University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Cyber security certifications (e.g. ISSP, CISM, CRISC, Sec+, GSEC, CEH).
  • Exposure to security tools, vulnerability scanning or incident response.
  • Familiarity with Defence and Australian Government security frameworks (ISM, DSPF, PSPF).
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security clearance.
