WMS Consultant

Miebach Consulting seeks a WMS Consultant to design, configure, and implement warehouse management solutions for global clients. You will analyze distribution center processes, define functional requirements, and translate them into WMS configurations and integrations with ERP and automation systems. Responsibilities include workshops, data analysis, testing, go-live support, and user training. You'll collaborate with international teams, apply advanced analytics, and contribute to continuous improvement, helping leading brands optimize end-to-end supply chain and intralogistics performance in a learning-oriented, innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client warehouse and intralogistics processes to identify WMS requirements and improvement opportunities.
• Design and configure WMS solutions, including workflows, master data, and business rules.
• Lead workshops and gather functional and technical requirements from global client stakeholders.
• Coordinate and support system integration with ERP, automation, and material handling equipment.
• Develop and execute test plans, manage UAT, and resolve defects prior to go-live.
• Prepare documentation, training materials, and conduct end-user training sessions.
• Support go-live, stabilization, and continuous improvement initiatives for WMS deployments.
• Use data analysis and KPIs to evaluate performance and recommend optimization measures.
• Collaborate with international project teams across engineering, IT, and operations.
• Contribute to proposals, project planning, and knowledge sharing within the consulting team.
