Chief Data Officer (CDO)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Remote Chief Data Officer (CDO) to lead our organization s data initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing data strategies, ensuring data quality and governance, and leveraging data assets to drive business growth all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Oversee data governance, quality, privacy, and security policies.

Lead the design and management of enterprise-wide data architecture and infrastructure.

Foster a data-driven culture across departments through training and collaboration.

Collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for data-driven decision making.

Manage data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting teams.

Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Identify and implement innovative data technologies and tools.

Monitor industry trends and emerging data best practices.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chief Data Officer, Data Director, or senior data leadership role.

Strong understanding of data management, data governance, and data architecture.

Experience with data privacy laws and compliance.

Proficiency in data analytics tools, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), and data visualization.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
