Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree or equivalent education; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor''s degree.
• Strong knowledge of health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs.
• Strong knowledge of major benefits regulations, including COBRA, ACA, ERISA, IRS requirements, and HIPAA.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, particularly for data analysis and presentation.
• Experience working with HRIS/HR management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong project and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment on complex benefits matters.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who goes beyond day-to-day benefits administration. The strongest candidates will have experience owning complex benefits programs, managing vendors, analyzing benefits data, supporting regulatory compliance, and leading significant initiatives such as plan changes, implementations, RFPs, or Open Enrollment.
