AI & Economics Data Scientist - Flexible

Westpac is seeking an experienced Data Science SME who combines hands-on development with strategic insight, spanning econometrics, ML, and production-grade solutions. You will work at the intersection of AI, data engineering, and macroeconomics to deliver scalable research for institutional clients and internal teams.

You'll collaborate with DataX + Economics, build robust models, leverage Azure ML or SageMaker, and present findings to executive stakeholders in a fast-paced enterprise setting.
