Role Description The Junior Architect role at CAP project X is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the individual collaborates with senior architects and project teams to develop architectural concepts, prepare drawings, and support design documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in design development, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and contributing to BIM models and digital design workflows. The Junior Architect helps ensure design intent is maintained through various project stages, supports integration of technology-driven solutions, and participates in reviews to improve quality and efficiency. The role also involves staying current with industry standards, tools, and regulations relevant to architecture and the built environment.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
  • Understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to BIM, AI tools, and digital design platforms.
  • Basic Project Management skills, including task prioritization, coordination with team members, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM tools) and familiarity with visualization tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a closely related field, with relevant internships or junior-level experience preferred.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and sustainable design principles is an advantage.
