Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python, Prefect, AWS, and Snowflake to build and enhance a scalable workflow orchestration platform supporting enterprise marketing operations.

This is a software engineering role focused on designing, developing, deploying, and supporting production-grade workflow orchestration solutions. You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and Frontend Developers to build reliable, observable, and secure workflow platforms not just provide architecture guidance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong Python development experience
• Hands-on experience with Prefect (or Airflow, Dagster, Luigi, etc.)
• AWS cloud services
• Snowflake and advanced SQL
• REST API integrations
• CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Git version control
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Production monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Workflow orchestration and scheduling
• Troubleshooting production applications and data pipelines

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop workflow orchestration solutions using Python and Prefect.
• Build reliable, scalable, and production-ready workflow platforms.
• Integrate Snowflake, REST APIs, middleware, and enterprise applications.
• Develop deployment pipelines across Dev, Test, and Production environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Design retry, recovery, and rerun mechanisms for workflow failures.
• Implement secure authentication, secrets management, and environment separation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Create operational documentation, deployment guides, and runbooks.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot platform issues.
• Follow engineering best practices, testing, code reviews, and version control.
