The Role • Operate specialized equipment like hostlers, top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring efficient yard operations. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to maintain safety standards. • Coordinate container moves with yard personnel and supervisors. • Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to all established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Strong commitment to safety and keen attention to detail. • Basic communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars is necessary.
