Job Description

As a Hydraulics System Engineer, you will join an international team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of flight. You will assist with the development of cutting-edge hydraulic systems and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Specification, design, and development of hydraulic sub-systems, components, and their overall architecture.
  • System Integration: Seamless integration of hydraulic sub-systems and components into complex, multi-system aircraft environments.
  • Analysis & Improvement: Analysis and evaluation of system behavior to understand potential failures and proactively propose innovative design improvements.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as a key point of contact and coordinating with internal stakeholders (including interfacing systems, safety, and maintenance teams).

 

Your Profile

Education:

  • University degree (at least a Bachelor’s) in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related Technical Field.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Engineering, specifically within the Aerospace industry.
  • Prior Airbus experience is considered a distinct advantage.

Technical Skills & Tools:

  • IT Tools: Initial experience/basic knowledge of DOORS; proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Domain Expertise: Solid knowledge of hydraulics and aircraft system engineering.

Language Skills:

  • English: Negotiation level (mind. verhandlungssicher).
  • German: Knowledge of German is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with contacts at all levels and maintain excellent business relationships.
  • A true team player with a structured, result-oriented mindset and sharp analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in an international environment.
