Quick Overview
Job Description
PV: Booker DiMaio
We are finding that the client strongly prefers candidates with Navy experience, preferably with exposure to either NAVSEA or inventory. I don't think we'll get traction with candidates lacking Navy experience. The NAVSEA and inventory experience are not absolute musts, but I would treat the Navy experience as such.
Also, the salaries are listed below with the jobs. I know the salary for the Data Architect role is pretty brutal at $105k. The issue is that the client is ok with candidates who only have 4-5 years of experience which is keeping the rate lower than it should be. We may be able to stretch is to $110k for the right candidate but we are definitely challenged on the compensation. Our Benefits Summary is also attached so you can give candidates a clearer picture of what the total compensation will look like.
On a brighter note, this is business that we have already won so both of these jobs will definitely be filled with candidates that we find.
These jobs are expected to run for 5+ years and already have funding. The Navy releases work orders 12 months at a time but it would be a huge failure if the engagement only ran for 12 months.
Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance or higher and work 100% onsite in Portsmouth, VA.
The job description sbelow are directly from the client. We reworded the job descriptions on our website, so it won't be as easy to identify the client. I'm including the original job descriptions, so you have as clear a picture as possible of what the client is looking for.
If you plan to post these jobs online, please use the alternate job descriptions found on our careers page. Part of our contract with this client mentions that we won't republish the identical job description which is part of the reason we had to reword them.
