The Role • Act in a lead capacity in the absence of store management, overseeing daily operations. • Provide exemplary customer service, greeting customers and assisting them with locating merchandise. • Manage stocking and merchandise presentation, including unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining plan-o-grams. • Operate the cash register accurately, process customer purchases, and handle cash and payments. • Perform store opening and closing procedures under direction. • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working and shopping environment. What You'll Need • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash accurately with knowledge of deposit control. • Proficiency in operating cash registers and understanding of cash handling procedures. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. • Understanding of safety policies and practices. • Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandising guidelines. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with six months of supervisory or related experience.
