System Administrator Location: North Somerset<br />Job Type: Full-time - Site Based<br />Salary: £35,000. We are seeking a System Administrator to work collaboratively with various business teams to ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of all IT systems. Day-to-Day of

the Role:

Infrastructure Operations &amp; Maintenance: Maintain and administer servers, storage systems, and core infrastructure to ensure stability, availability, and performance.<br />Server &amp; Virtualisation Management: Manage virtual environments, configure virtual machines, and maintain host clusters.<br />Networking &amp; Connectivity: Support and troubleshoot network issues, maintain network documentation, and collaborate on network upgrades.<br />Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer cloud platforms, manage cloud-based servers, and implement cloud governance policies.<br />Backup, Storage &amp; Disaster Recovery: Maintain backup systems, test disaster recovery procedures, and manage storage solutions.<br />Security &amp; Compliance: Implement security measures, monitor vulnerabilities, and support compliance audits.<br />Automation &amp; Scripting: Use PowerShell to automate tasks and improve processes.<br />Incident, Problem &amp; Change Management: Serve as an escalation point for infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and participate in change management processes.<br />Hardware &amp; Resource Management: Manage the lifecycle of infrastructure assets and ensure proper configuration of physical systems.<br />Project Delivery &amp; Continuous Improvement: Lead infrastructure projects, evaluate new technologies, and enhance system reliability and efficiency.Required Skills &amp;

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.<br />Strong commitment to customer service and high satisfaction levels.<br />In-depth knowledge of Windows servers, networking, and cybersecurity.<br />Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.<br />Experience with Cisco network hardware, including Meraki.<br />Ability to manage multiple tasks and rapidly establish good working relationships..Additional
