Our client is a leading ASX-listed Australian property and investment group with a rapidly expanding national portfolio across retail and mixed-use assets. With a strong reputation for delivering large-scale developments, strategic acquisitions and premium retail destinations, this is an opportunity to join a business that continues to invest in growth and its people.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Retail Lease Administrator to take ownership of a high-volume national retail leasing portfolio. Working closely with internal stakeholders, external solicitors and the wider property team, you will ensure the accurate administration and execution of lease transactions while maintaining compliance across a growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end administration of retail lease transactions
  • Prepare, review and coordinate new leases, renewals, assignments, surrenders and variations
  • Liaise with landlords, tenants and external solicitors throughout the leasing process
  • Coordinate execution of lease documentation and ensure all critical dates are met
  • Manage bank guarantees, lease registers and key documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Retail Leases Act legislation and company procedures
  • Maintain accurate lease records and reporting across the national portfolio
  • Identify opportunities to improve lease administration processes and efficiencies
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required
The Candidate
  • Proven experience in retail lease administration within a landlord, retailer or property environment
  • Strong understanding of retail lease documentation and the Retail Leases Act
  • Experience managing high-volume lease transactions with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident working with legal documentation and external solicitors
  • Commercially minded with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
  • Experience using lease management systems and Microsoft Office
