Job Description
Hiring Head - Pricing Actuary for one of our Indian Insurance client in Bangalore location.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for actuarial pricing, profitability management,
governance and commercial support of the Group Insurance portfolio. The role provides end-to-end ownership of pricing the Products ensuring compliance with IRDAI regulations, getting the approval from PMC/Regulator in time as well as Group Pricing The incumbent leads Group Insurance pricing strategy, governance and profitability through robust actuarial analysis, portfolio oversight, reinsurance optimization and innovative pricing solutions, while ensuring sustainable growth and effective risk management. Working closely with Distribution, Underwriting, Finance, Risk, Product Management, Reinsurers, Operations and Senior Leadership, the role supports informed business decision-making and portfolio performance. The position is responsible for building and leading a high-performing pricing team and serves as a key contributor to strategic decisions impacting growth, capital efficiency, earnings and risk-adjusted returns.

Education:
- Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) and/or a recognized international actuarial body.
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related discipline.
Experience:
- 10+ years of actuarial experience in life insurance, with significant experience in Group Insurance pricing.
- Proven experience in portfolio profitability management, pricing governance and reinsurance.
- Demonstrated success in leading actuarial teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of IRDAI regulations and the Indian life insurance market.
