Job Description

Business Analyst Digital Health Program

12 Month Initial Contract + Extension Options
Hybrid Working Arrangement

We are seeking two experienced Senior Business Analysts to join a major national digital health initiative focused on improving healthcare outcomes through technology, data and connected digital services.

Working within a high performing team, you will play a key role in conformance testing, business analysis, stakeholder engagement and quality assurance activities across complex digital health systems. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy working in a collaborative environment and contributing to large scale government technology programs.

About the Role

Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for performing complex analytical and testing activities, supporting vendor conformance processes, executing and assessing test cases, and providing guidance to development teams throughout the testing lifecycle.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify, analyse and resolve complex issues while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, risk management activities and successful project delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review and assess conformance and testing specifications
  • Execute and evaluate conformance test cases across multiple vendor solutions
  • Conduct observed testing activities and support vendor representatives through testing processes
  • Produce accurate, detailed and auditable test outcome records
  • Analyse business and technical issues and recommend practical solutions
  • Support quality assurance, compliance and data auditing activities
  • Contribute to risk assessment and risk management activities
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across technical and business teams
  • Assist with strategic planning, project delivery and business improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and assess process effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement
  • Provide specialist advice and support across programs and projects
About You

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Business Analyst or Senior Analyst in complex ICT environments
  • Experience developing and assessing test cases and testing frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Experience in quality assurance, compliance, data auditing or governance activities
  • Demonstrated experience applying risk assessment methodologies
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Visio, Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
Highly Desirable
  • Experience working within healthcare, digital health or health technology environments
  • Experience with conformance testing and compliance programs
  • Experience working within government or regulated environments
