Job Description
Our client, a leading & expanding manufacturing organisation, established for over 30 years in Tamworth are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and detail-focused Project Manager to join their fast-paced Project Management Office. You will thrive in a dynamic environment and be able to demonstrate end to end project delivery across diverse boundaries.
Your salary will be up to £52,000 depending on experience. Benefits include 32 days holiday including Bank Holidays, Paycare - A Healthcare Cash Plan (Discounts available and access to a 24-hour Doctor), Access to Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), and up to 5 days extra unpaid holiday available at a salary sacrifice. Hours of work are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday – please note this is an office-based position.
Working within an established PMO, you'll be responsible for delivering a range of projects across the business, including IT, operational and other additional projects. You'll also support larger ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation programmes. This role is all about keeping projects on track, building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery.

As the Project Manager, your key responsibilities are to:
- Support the planning, scheduling, and delivery of projects to ensure objectives, timelines, and budgets are met
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions where required
- Produce and maintain project documentation, including business cases, project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure alignment and successful delivery
- Track project resources, costs, and key performance metrics, providing accurate reporting and updates
- Support risk, issue, and change management processes, escalating matters appropriately when required
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO standards, processes, and best practices
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within a fast-paced business environment
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a project management role, experienced in dealing with a variety of projects at any given time including IT
- You must be PRINCE2 certified
- Experience with ERP and/or Warehouse Management System (WMS) projects, however, this is not essential
- Experience creating detailed project documentation (project plans, business cases, reports, etc.)
- Strong planning and organisational skills, ability to manage several projects at any given time
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organised and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and project management software
- Full UK driving licence
