SAP Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong finance delivery experience and a broad understanding of SAP Finance, Sales & Distribution (SD), and Supply Chain processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, curious, and comfortable taking ownership of deliverables while working directly with business stakeholders and technology teams.

This role requires someone who can effectively bridge business requirements and SAP/technology solutions, communicate with business unit managers, and drive functional deliverables from requirements through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end SAP functional deliverables across Finance, SD, and Supply Chain areas.
• Partner with business unit managers and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Lead requirements gathering, functional analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation activities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and provide recommendations for process and technology improvements.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with technical teams, architects, developers, and other SAP functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Understand cross-functional dependencies between Finance, SD, and Supply Chain processes.
• Support SAP transformation initiatives involving S/4HANA and modern SAP technologies.
• Contribute to process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Clearly communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to business and leadership teams.
• Stay current with SAP capabilities and demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.

Required Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of SAP/Finance delivery experience.
• Strong functional experience in SAP Finance / FI/CO.
• Working knowledge of SAP SD and Supply Chain business processes.
• Experience working in enterprise SAP implementation, transformation, or support environments.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to connect them with SAP solutions.
• Excellent business-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to independently manage deliverables and take ownership of workstreams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Experience with SAP transformation or modernization programs.
• Knowledge of integration between Finance, SD, and Supply Chain.
• Experience working with senior business stakeholders and business unit leadership.
