Job Description

Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Soltau, Germany | Hybrid We're hiring on behalf of a leading European energy services provider that is crucial to enabling the energy transition. They are seeking a driven professional to play a key role in modernizing and building critical energy infrastructure across northeastern Germany. The Role • Execute new construction and modernization projects for medium, high, and ultra-high voltage substations up to 380kV. • Perform commissioning tests to ensure the operational readiness of electrical installations and facilitate the flow of green energy. • Analyze and resolve incidents related to protection and control systems in collaboration with internal expert teams. • Drive improvements in work processes and efficiency within substation projects. • Configure and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers. • Contribute directly to the success of energy transition projects, including grid connections for renewable energy parks. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering. • Proven affinity and expertise in protection and/or control technology, with prior experience in commissioning switchgear. • Familiarity with common communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104). • Experience with parameterization software such as Siemens DIGSI 4/5 and Schneider MICOM S1 is preferred. • Strong team player with excellent decision-making, communication skills, and a professional demeanor. • Valid driver's license Class B and willingness to travel regularly within northeastern Germany.
