About the role:

As our Senior Product Designer – Retail Media, you’ll shape customer-centric experiences across one of our strategic growth areas, designing products that create value for customers, advertisers and healthcare partners without compromising trust, transparency or accessibility.

Working within our multidisciplinary UX team, you’ll have end-to-end design ownership across customer-facing experiences, advertiser products and internal tools, helping define what responsible Retail Media looks like at the intersection of digital healthcare, e-commerce and AI-enabled product development.

About your tasks:

• Own the end-to-end product design process for Retail Media products and customer experiences, from discovery and research through prototyping, delivery and continuous optimisation, translating customer needs, commercial objectives and technical constraints into intuitive and scalable experiences.
• Shape Retail Media and digital commerce experiences across areas such as sponsored products, advertising placements, personalisation, recommendations, merchandising, search, campaign interactions and conversion optimisation, always balancing commercial value with customer trust and accessibility.
• Drive outcome-oriented design, partnering with UX Research and Data to understand customer behaviour, define hypotheses and use experimentation, product KPIs and user insights to continuously improve experiences.
• Bring cross-functional teams together through Product Discovery, Design Thinking workshops and collaborative ideation, partnering closely with Product Management, Engineering, Commercial, Marketing, Brand and Data from initial concept through high-quality implementation.
• Use modern AI-powered design workflows including Figma Make, Codex, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude and similar technologies to accelerate ideation, prototyping, UX writing and design exploration, while contributing to our Design System and championing Human-Centered Design and WCAG standards.

About you:

• You bring several years of Product Design experience within cross-functional teams, including professional experience with B2C digital products, ideally across e-commerce, marketplaces, Retail Media, AdTech, MarTech or digital commerce.
• You have strong expertise in Figma, including Auto Layout, Variables, Components, Design Systems and advanced prototyping, alongside experience using AI-assisted tools to accelerate modern product design and development workflows.
• You combine strong interaction and visual design, systems thinking and information architecture with experience in Product Discovery, experimentation, A/B testing and KPI-driven optimisation. Exposure to personalisation, recommendations, search, merchandising or conversion-focused products is particularly valuable.
• You’re confident bringing together customer needs, accessibility, commercial objectives and technical feasibility, facilitating interdisciplinary discussions and working closely with engineers throughout the product lifecycle. You’re fluent in English
   

It would be great if you also bring:

• Experience working in healthcare, another regulated digital industry, or a large-scale technology/digital product organisation.
• Experience with accessibility standards, such as WCAG 2.2 and the European Accessibility Act.
• Familiarity with analytics and experimentation platforms, such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4, Contentsquare, Optimizely or similar.
• Experience working in agile product organisations with continuous discovery and delivery.
• German language skills would be a strong advantage.

While this is a remote position based in Germany, it may require occasional on-site collaboration at our offices in Berlin or Cologne, depending on business and team requirements.
