Join iFire, part of the Ranger Group, and become part of a growing organisation that invests in its people, supports career development, and offers genuine progression opportunities.<br />About the Role<br />As a Fire &amp; Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of fire and security systems for commercial clients across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. You will play a key role in ensuring systems remain fully operational, compliant, and effective in protecting people, property, and businesses.<br />Key Responsibilities:<br />Service, maintain, and repair fire and security systems, including:Fire alarm systems<br />CCTV systems<br />Intruder alarm systems<br />Access control systems<br />Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs.<br />Diagnose faults and provide effective repair solutions.<br />Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.<br />Deliver excellent customer service and provide clear technical guidance to clients.<br />Complete accurate service reports and documentation.<br />Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental requirements.<br />Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency support when required.<br />What We Are Looking For<br />Essential<br />Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.<br />Strong technical knowledge of:<br />Fire alarms<br />CCTV<br />Intruder alarms<br />Access control systems<br />Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.<br />Strong communication and customer service abilities.<br />Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br />Full UK Driving Licence.<br />Desirable

• FIA, BAFE, or equivalent industry qualifications.
