Role: QA Automation Engineer (C# & Playwright)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: long Term Contract

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using C# and Playwright for web-based applications.

Create and execute automated UI, functional, regression, smoke, and integration test cases.

Develop reusable and maintainable automation scripts using C#/.NET and Playwright.

Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and automation scripts.

Implement robust page objects, test data management, assertions, and reusable automation components.

Execute automated test suites across multiple browsers and environments to ensure application compatibility.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing processes.

Investigate test failures, analyze defects, and work closely with developers to identify and resolve issues.

Perform API testing and validate backend responses and application integrations when required.

Maintain test results, defect reports, test documentation, and automation metrics.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, framework stability, and overall QA processes.

Perform regression testing for new releases and validate fixes across different environments.

Follow QA best practices, coding standards, version control, and peer-review processes.

Support troubleshooting of automation framework and environment-related issues and continuously improve the overall test automation strategy.
