Subcontractor Compliance Officer

Are you an experienced compliance professional with a passion for governance, risk management and continuous improvement?

We're looking for a Subcontractor Compliance Officer to support the management of subcontractor and supply chain compliance across a diverse portfolio of maintenance and construction activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing compliance function where you'll play a key role in ensuring subcontractors meet business and regulatory requirements while supporting operational performance, supplier governance and risk mitigation.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing subcontractor onboarding and pre-qualification processes.
  • Reviewing and maintaining compliance records, including insurances, accreditations and competency documentation.
  • Producing compliance reports, dashboards and management information.
  • Conducting audits, due diligence checks and compliance reviews.
  • Monitoring subcontractor performance and identifying areas of non-compliance.
  • Supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analysing data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Working closely with Procurement, Commercial, Operational and Health & Safety teams.
About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in:

  • Compliance, governance, risk management or supply chain compliance.
  • Auditing, reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Producing management information and analysing business data.
  • Managing documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Desirable Experience
  • Construction, housing or contractor environments.
  • Supply chain or subcontractor compliance.
  • Building Safety Act knowledge.
  • CIPS, ICA, IRM or similar qualifications.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • SQL, Power BI or dashboard reporting experience.
