QA Automation - Playwright

Role: QA – Automation Engineer

Duration: Contract

Location: San Jose, CA (3 days work from office)

Job Description:

• 7+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language:
• TypeScript / JavaScript preferred
• Python or Java also acceptable.
• Strong understanding of Playwright concepts
• Strong experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript, and web application architecture.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab and source-control practices.
• Hands-on experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and QA methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle and test management processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
