Shop / Fabrication Manager

Description Bring your leadership to a high-impact fabrication shop in Greenville, SC, where safety, quality, and on-time delivery drive real outcomes across industrial construction, maintenance, shutdown, and manufacturing projects. This Shop / Fabrication Manager opportunity gives you the single point of accountability to shape daily production execution, workforce performance, and continuous improvement across the fabrication floor.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Shop / Fabrication Manager position include: Five or more years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, industrial construction, mechanical contracting, or a related shop environment, plus five or more years of supervisory or management experience. Lead, coach, and develop shop supervisors, leads, fabricators, welders, machine operators, and support employees. Maintain ownership of day-to-day fabrication shop operations, workforce coordination, workflow, and production execution.

Develop and maintain short-term and look-ahead fabrication schedules aligned with project priorities and required delivery dates. Ensure shop safety performance and visible compliance with company safety policies and applicable requirements. Drive quality by ensuring fabrication complies with approved drawings, specifications, codes, welding procedures, and customer requirements. Coordinate fabrication equipment and facility management, including safe operation, preventive maintenance, and utilization.

Monitor labor productivity, earned versus spent hours, overtime, rework, scrap, throughput, and equipment utilization to support cost control and continuous improvement.

Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
