Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI Developer opportunity with a Federal Government client, focused on driving digital innovation, AI capability, automation, and enterprise productivity.

Contract: Long-term contract with extension options available

Security Clearance: Baseline Clearance or higher preferred

We're seeking experienced professionals with expertise in:

• Microsoft Azure AI services and Azure AI Foundry
• AI agent development, deployment, and maintenance
• Microsoft Copilot and enterprise AI enablement
• Prompt engineering and generative AI solutions
• AI-powered automation and workflow configuration
• Integration with enterprise platforms such as SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and deploy AI agents tailored to business needs, including summarisation, document drafting, and decision support
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data sources to improve knowledge access and business usability
• Support Copilot onboarding, training, communications, and user adoption activities
• Develop learning materials, user guides, and support resources for AI and Copilot capabilities
• Ensure AI configurations comply with privacy, security, and ethical AI standards
• Degree or qualification in Computer Science, IT, AI, or a related field
• Azure certifications or relevant Microsoft AI/cloud certifications
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry or Azure administration
• Practical experience with generative AI models and prompt engineering
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and workshop facilitation skills
• Understanding of ethical AI, bias mitigation, fairness, and responsible deployment
