Duration: Contract - 11 months


Pay Range: $70.23/hr (W2)

Job Description


We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our dynamic team supporting the NvD - RTC Resiliency initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application security assessment, process documentation, and workflow optimization and a proven ability to standardize end-to-end application management processes and drive measurable adoption across stakeholders.


Responsibilities:



  • Document current and future state process maps to standardize and maintain end-to-end application management workflows and procedures.

  • Evaluate existing workflow processes for clarity, completeness, and scalability across application governance. Identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

  • Define and document roles, responsibilities, ownership, and RACI across application management activities.

  • Explore and recommend automation opportunities for workflows and controls.

  • Partner with Application Managers, engineering, and service management stakeholders to drive process adoption and alignment.

  • Extract, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple systems to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with data analysts to align reporting, dashboards, and risk analysis outputs.

  • Support audit activities by ensuring processes are properly documented and governance standards are met.

  • Maintain central repositories for documentation and workflow charts.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • 7+ years in process documentation, technical writing, or business process analysis.

  • Application Security Assessment experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with Excel, Power Query, Tableau, or similar tools for data extraction and analysis.

  • Proficiency creating process documentation and workflow diagrams using Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Confluence.

  • Ability to manage data across multiple systems and spreadsheet-driven processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in complex environments.

  • Ability to drive clarity and structure in ambiguous or evolving processes.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with application governance and lifecycle management, including policies, standards, processes, and systems.

  • Understanding of risk frameworks and experience supporting audits or working within risk/compliance environments.

  • Familiarity with patch management and remediation workflows.

  • Background in technology, infrastructure, or engineering organizations.

  • Experience partnering with data analytics teams and working with dashboards and reporting tools.

  • Experience in transformation or process optimization environments.
