Industry 4.0 Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Industry 4.0 and IIoT solutions for manufacturing clients.
• Develop and configure SCADA, HMI, and MES applications using the Ignition platform.
• Build solutions using Python, SQL, JavaScript, C#/.NET, and related technologies.
• Design and manage databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Configure and integrate MQTT brokers, OPC servers, and third-party industrial software.
• Develop cloud-integrated solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Connected Factory solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, system architecture, and implementation guides.
• Support deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and client communication throughout project execution.

Required Skills

• Experience with Industry 4.0 / Connected Factory / IIoT projects.
• Hands-on experience with Ignition (Inductive Automation).
• Knowledge of SCADA, HMI, and MES systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript, C#/.NET, or similar technologies.
• Experience with MQTT, OPC/OPC UA, and industrial communication protocols.
• Strong SQL/database development experience, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Understanding of PLC logic and industrial automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake is preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ignition Certification (current or expired is acceptable).
