Job Description
Atturra is seeking an experienced and motivated ServiceNow Platform Architect to join our growing ServiceNow practice.
This role is ideal for a certified ServiceNow architect who is passionate about helping organisations move beyond traditional ITSM and leverage the platform to design and deliver end-to-end workflows across their entire business and technology landscape.
You will operate as a senior technical leader, combining hands on delivery with architecture ownership and pre sales solutioning. While this role aligns to a principal level capability, we are open to individuals who may have taken different paths to get there - particularly those with strong architectural thinking, curiosity, and a desire to grow.
Responsibilities- Act as the technical design authority for ServiceNow implementations, owning end to end solution architecture including platform security
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned to:
- ServiceNow best practices and roadmap
- Government and regulatory requirements
- Own architectural decisions across:
- Integrations
- CMDB
- Security and access controls
- Performance and scalability
- Contribute directly to delivery, balancing architecture leadership with hands on implementation
- Ensure solutions are practical, implementable, and aligned to real customer outcomes
- Help customers design and implement workflows that extend across both business and technology domains
- Move beyond ITSM and support adoption across broader ServiceNow capabilities and enterprise use cases
- Translate business challenges into platform enabled solutions that deliver measurable value
- Lead requirements and co design workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Operate as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders
- Contribute to pre sales activities including:
- Technical inputs to proposals and estimates
- Customer presentations and bids
- Support the shaping of solutions that align to customer outcomes and Atturra capabilities
- Ensure solutions meet defined quality standards and architectural guardrails
- Identify and mitigate technical and security risks early in the delivery lifecycle
- Support the growth and maturity of the ServiceNow practice through:
- Development of reusable assets and architectural patterns
- Coaching and mentoring of consultants and developers
- Contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
- Permanent full time or contract
- Open to all major locations e.g., Sydney/Canberra/Melbourne/Brisbane/Perth
- Strong experience working on the ServiceNow platform in an architect or lead technical role
- Ability to balance architecture leadership with hands on delivery
- Experience working in customer facing consulting environments
- Strong facilitation skills for requirements and co design workshops
- Deep understanding of:
- ServiceNow platform architecture
- Integrations and data modelling
- Security, performance, and scalability
- Ability to design solutions that connect workflows across enterprise systems and functions
- A platform first thinker who sees ServiceNow as more than ITSM
- Passion for helping customers transform how work gets done
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Growth mindset with a willingness to continue developing capability
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Experience with ServiceNow NowCreate methodology
- Experience across one or more of:
- Customer Service Management (CSM)
- Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS)
- Core Business Suite (CBS)
- Workflow Data Fabric (WDF)
- Exposure to government or highly regulated environments
- Australian Citizenship with an existing security clearance (e.g. Baseline or NV1) is highly desirable
