Listed and OTC Options Operations Specialist – Prominent Systematic/Quant Launch – EXCLUSIVE ROLE

CassonX are delighted to be the EXCLUSIVE recruiter for this nearly $1bn Systematic/Quant launch, which will trade a truly macro focus on high-frequency investment strategies. After a couple of years of hiring some of the best software engineers from top tier trading firms, they have recently launched and looking to hire their first Operations specialist in Amsterdam, to partner with other Operations teams in other European locations. This is an exceptional time to be joining the company, where can build from the beginning of what could be one of the most prominent launches (managing their own fund and SMAs) that Europe has seen in recent times. You must be a motivated individual, willing to work 5 days in office, and able to roll your sleeves up to make them successful. In return, they are offering profit share to incentivise you, and consider this is early in their evolution, this could be very lucrative in the future.

Whilst they have already started trading Equity products, to be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who as 2 – 8 years of experience supporting Listed and OTC Options trading strategies, with expertise in trade lifecycle management. Wider knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income and other Derivatives is beneficial, but you must be a specialist with Options to be considered. Ideally they would prefer someone to be coming from another Hedge Fund background, but they would entertain anyone coming from an algorithmic, systematic or high frequency trading support role (typically a Trading firm, Market Maker, or Prime Brokerage function of an Investment Bank). Degree education is important, but a proactive, hard working and attentive mentality is essential to be considered.

This is a truly fantastic role being the first person in Amsterdam and reporting into an Operations Manager in a European location. They already have some Options Traders and you will sit with and directly interact with them, but you will required to not only help assist the build and implement controls for the Trading Operations function, but you will be required to support everything to do with the trade lifecycles and investigating discrepancies.
