Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP Basis Connsultant for a 100% remote role. You will lead the technical design, migration, and optimisation of our enterprise SAP landscape hosted on public cloud infrastructure. This role requires an independent, senior-level expert who can act as the final point of escalation for complex technical issues, system performance tuning, and S/4HANA lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture: Design and maintain highly available, secure SAP landscapes on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• S/4HANA & HANA Admin: Oversee HANA database management, scale-out, replication, and memory optimization.

• Upgrades & Migrations: Lead end-to-end OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA conversions, and system updates using SUM / SWPM .

• Performance Tuning: Deep-dive into ABAP/Java stack troubleshooting, database bottlenecks, and Linux OS tuning.

• Remote Operations: Participate in a high-level on-call rotation and autonomously manage system health documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of core SAP Basis administration experience.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing SAP in Public Cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).

• Expertise in SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and Enterprise Linux (RHEL/SLES).

• Strong command of SAP Software Logistics tools (SUM, SWPM, SolMan/Cloud ALM).

• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment with cross-functional teams.

• Relevant SAP or Cloud certifications are highly preferred.
