SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant (m/f)

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant to join one of our client teams in Luxembourg within a public sector environment.

In this role, you will contribute to the modernization and continuous improvement of an SAP S/4HANA environment, helping business teams optimize their processes through standard SAP solutions. You will work on SAP transformation projects, functional enhancements, and expert support activities, with a strong focus on fit-to-standard approaches, SAP Fiori, and seamless integration across business processes.

THE WORK:

• Analyze and document business requirements, map existing and target processes, and lead fit-to-standard workshops.

• Identify and recommend standard SAP S/4HANA and Fiori solutions, minimizing unnecessary custom developments.

• Prepare functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration documentation.

• Configure and maintain SAP solutions within the assigned functional area, including FI/CO/PS, MM, SD, or PM.

• Collaborate with technical teams on developments, interfaces, integrations, CDS, OData, and APIs.

• Assess cross-functional impacts involving SAP modules, third-party systems, data, workflows, and authorizations.

• Design and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect management and test documentation.

• Provide Level 3 functional support, investigate incidents, and implement corrective solutions.

• Support deployments, cutover activities, go-live, hypercare, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Prepare functional documentation, user guides, and training materials, and ensure knowledge transfer to key users and internal teams.

• Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and workload estimates to relevant stakeholders.

Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen collaboration.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SAP S/4HANA functional consulting.

• Strong experience in fit-to-standard analysis, gap assessment, and prioritization of standard SAP solutions.

• At least 5 years of expertise in one of the following functional areas: FI/CO/PS, MM, SD, or PM.

• Strong understanding of integrations between SAP modules and external systems.

• At least 2 years of experience in functional analysis of business processes and SAP Fiori applications.

• Advanced experience in SIT/UAT testing, defect management, and test traceability.

• Strong experience providing Level 3 functional support and resolving complex SAP incidents.

• Proven ability to prepare functional specifications, configure SAP solutions, and produce user documentation.

• Good understanding of SAP roles, authorizations, and segregation of duties.

• Ability to independently facilitate workshops, collaborate with stakeholders, and transfer knowledge to business and technical teams.

• Professional proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM for requirements, testing, and traceability management.

• Knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, SAP Ariba, or SAP Concur, depending on the functional area.
