RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Solution Architect/Technical Lead in Charlotte, NC.
Overview
This consultant will provide technical leadership, architecture oversight, and delivery support for enterprise Adobe Experience Cloud initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), digital experience platforms, and leading cross-functional teams through the full software development lifecycle.
This role will partner with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project teams to design and deliver scalable Adobe solutions while supporting ongoing project execution and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture and technical design across Adobe Experience Cloud platforms, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Edge Delivery Services
- Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout design, development, testing, and deployment activities
- Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, solution specifications, and implementation standards
- Guide development teams on best practices, coding standards, and platform optimization strategies
- Facilitate architecture reviews, design workshops, technical discussions, and stakeholder presentations
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), production readiness reviews, and deployment planning
- Evaluate technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery
- Partner with business and technology teams to align solutions with organizational objectives
- Contribute to solution development, proposal support, and technical strategy discussions as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Experience Cloud solutions
- Strong background in solution architecture, enterprise application design, and digital platform delivery
- Experience leading development teams and serving as a technical lead on large-scale client engagements
- Deep understanding of AEM architecture, content management, and implementation best practices
- Experience creating technical documentation, architecture roadmaps, and client-facing recommendations
- Knowledge of Adobe Edge Delivery Services and modern digital experience delivery frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex technical requirements and develop scalable solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large enterprise digital transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of broader Adobe Experience Cloud products and integrations
- Consulting or professional services background
- Experience participating in pre-sales activities, solution development, or technical proposal creation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
