Technical Lead – IICS Application Integration

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) – Cloud Application Integration (CAI) to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, define integration architecture, mentor development teams, and deliver scalable API-led and event-driven integrations using IICS and Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using Informatica IICS Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
• Define integration architecture, standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
• Design and develop REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and event-driven integration solutions.
• Lead the development of business processes using IICS Process Designer and Process Objects.
• Develop and review Python-based automation scripts and custom integration components.
• Integrate enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, and third-party systems.
• Perform technical design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and performance issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support release planning, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and guide developers while driving technical excellence across the integration team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Informatica IICS Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
• Strong expertise in IICS CAI, Process Designer, Process Objects, Secure Agent, Cloud Connectors, and API orchestration.
• Strong experience designing and implementing REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and webhook-based integrations.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, API integration, and custom development.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of integration architecture, API design principles, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with IICS Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and API Manager.
• Salesforce integrations, including Platform Events.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS) and Kafka or other messaging platforms.
• Exposure to Reltio MDM, OneTrust, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience working in Life Sciences or other regulated environments.
