Job Description

EC&I Engineer Warrington | £51 per hour (Inside IR35) | Hybrid - 3 Days On Site | 12-Month Contract Are you an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer looking to work on one of the UK's most significant nuclear programmes?

We're seeking an experienced engineer to join a specialist Plant Facing Design Office (PFDO) team, delivering electrical and control engineering solutions that support the development of bespoke tooling and equipment for critical retrieval operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to technically challenging projects within a highly regulated environment while enjoying a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

The Role As an EC&I Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering outputs within your assigned scope, ensuring designs are safe, compliant and fit for purpose. Your responsibilities will include:

Producing EC&amp;I engineering deliverables in line with project requirements and specifications<br />Applying relevant engineering standards, codes of practice and design guidance<br />Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team<br />Identifying and documenting engineering assumptions, constraints and risks<br />Supporting design reviews, checking and verification activities<br />Delivering engineering solutions that meet the highest standards of safety and quality What We're Looking For You'll ideally have:

Experience delivering EC&amp;I engineering outputs within engineering or project environments<br />A strong understanding of engineering standards, procedures and best practice<br />Experience developing engineering documentation from defined requirements<br />Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams<br />Experience supporting engineering assurance and review processes<br />Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control &amp; Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline Desirable Experience Experience within nuclear or other regulated, safety-critical industries<br />Exposure to multiple phases of the engineering lifecycle, from concept through to detailed design<br />Experience working alongside designers, project managers and other engineering disciplines<br />Familiarity with engineering governance and assurance processes<br />A commitment to continuous improvement and learning from operational experience<br />Working towards or holding Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status What's on Offer? £51 per hour - Inside IR35<br />12-month contract<br />Hybrid working - 3 days per week on site in Warrington<br />Opportunity to work on nationally significant nuclear projects<br />Collaborative team environment with long-term project opportunities<br />Exposure to complex engineering challenges within a highly regulated sector<br />If you're an EC&amp;I Engineer looking to develop your career on major nuclear programmes while working with a highly experienced engineering team, we'd love to hear from you.
