IBM z/OS Automation Engineer with  REXX / Tivoli / CA OPS/MVS

Automation Workstream

• CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS
• REXX

Required Professional & Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in a Mainframe Operations environment in an operational, service, consulting, or support role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on experience with TSO and ISPF
• Strong JCL skills
• Ability to write REXX
• Working knowledge of System Automation Policy Database (PDB)
• Experience with z/OS Automation Migration Projects
• Migration from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS – MUST HAVE

Required Product Experience

• NetView for z/OS
• IBM System Automation for z/OS

Preferred Expertise

• Knowledge of other IBM Z software and technologies
• z/OS system operation, configuration, startup and shutdown
• SMP/E
• Knowledge of competing Mainframe automation products
• Experience with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z

Key Requirement

CA OPS/MVS → IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS migration experience is mandatory.
