Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Design Engineer with 10+ years of experience designing industrial mechanical and fluid systems. The ideal candidate will develop fluid sub-systems and structural skid/package designs, ensuring compliance with global engineering standards and certifications. This role requires expertise in P&IDs, mechanical calculations, equipment sizing, engineering documentation, BOM creation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design fuel, lube oil, hydraulic, water injection, cooling, inlet filtration, ventilation, exhaust, and air systems, including structural base plates and skids.
• Develop P&IDs, General Arrangement Drawings, Assembly Drawings, API datasheets, equipment datasheets, work instructions, redline markups, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Perform pressure drop calculations, valve selection, pump/motor sizing, pressure vessel selection, and stress calculations.
• Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and drafters on pipe assemblies, supports, duct assemblies, and detailed mechanical designs.
• Conduct requirements reviews, risk assessments, design reviews, and support product improvements using customer and fleet data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical system design.
• Strong knowledge of API, PED, CSA, ASME, ATEX, NACE, ISO 21789 standards.
• Experience designing pumps, valves, heat exchangers, instrumentation, piping systems, and skids/packages.
• Preferred background in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Willingness to travel 8–10% domestically and internationally.
