Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable BI Developer with strong hands-on experience in ThoughtSpot, SQL, reporting, dashboards, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into meaningful insights, developing reporting solutions, and partnering with technical and business stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience developing BI reports, dashboards, live boards, and visualizations using ThoughtSpot.
- Strong experience with SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data validation logic.
- 5+ years of experience in BI development, analytics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of reporting best practices, KPI development, and metric design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional business stakeholders and managing stakeholder expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Experience supporting operational, business, or executive reporting.
- Exposure to retail and supply chain data environments.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery models.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ThoughtSpot reports, dashboards, and live boards.
- Translate business requirements into effective BI and reporting solutions.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting outputs.
- Design meaningful KPIs and metrics aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
- Communicate analytical findings and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support multiple reporting initiatives while effectively managing priorities and deadlines.
